This site is deliberately built to collect as little as possible. It sets no cookies and loads no fonts from anyone else’s server. It does run anonymous, cookieless visit counting on its own server — details below.

This site is hosted on our own server (vServer), operated by dogado GmbH, based in Germany.
When you open a page, the server processes the technically necessary data your browser sends automatically:
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest is the secure, fast and technically correct operation of the site. This data is not combined with any other data and is not used to build usage profiles.
As the provider is based in Germany, and so within the EU, no third-country transfer applies here. [Whether a data processing agreement is in place with dogado, and how long server logs are kept there, is still to be added.]
This site measures visits with Umami, self-hosted, open-source analytics software. Umami runs on our own server rather than a third party’s, sets no cookies, and uses no fingerprinting that would make individual visitors recognisable across separate visits.
Only aggregated, anonymous figures are recorded: page visited, date and time, a rough location (country, derived from the IP address) and browser/device type. The IP address itself is not stored — it is used only in the moment of processing and then discarded.
Because no personal profiles are built and there is no tracking across other websites, no consent is required. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in anonymous visit counting, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
This site sets no cookies and uses no local storage — the Umami visit counting is cookieless too. That is why there is no cookie banner.
All fonts are served from this site’s own server. There is no connection to Google Fonts or any other font service, and no IP address is passed to a third party.
This site embeds videos from YouTube and mixes from Mixcloud. That content is not loaded automatically. When you open the page you see only a preview image. A connection to the provider’s servers — and the transfer of your IP address to them — happens only once you click it.
YouTube videos are embedded via youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode.
The legal basis for loading them is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, given by clicking the preview. The providers are:
The mix cover images are stored on this site’s own server; displaying them opens no connection to Mixcloud.
The Instagram, YouTube and Mixcloud references in the header and footer are ordinary links. No content from those services is loaded and no data is transferred unless you click one.
If you write to us by email, your details are stored in order to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for a booking enquiry and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR otherwise. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention period applies.
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority. The competent one is the authority of the German state in which the controller is established. For Wiesbaden that is:
